Meetup details changed: More Sustainable Landscaping Presentation

From: Mark
Sent on: Thursday, October 27, 2011 11:00 AM

I am attending a five month long class on Urban Ecosystem Agriculture with local permaculturists and gardening advocates at the Huntington gardens and want to rework my sustainable landscaping presentation in light of what I've learned.  So I've changed the date to Thursday, December 8,[masked]:00 PM.  For more details, see the full listing:

I also want to find a better room for the presentation so the location may change - I'm thinking Altadena Library.  I'll notify people who RSVP'd if I change the location.

Also Friday is Jeffrey Smith is speaking about GMO crops at Caltech,

And Saturday and Sunday is the Green Festival LA where loads of interesting progressive thinkers will be presenting, and you can get in for free if you bike or take the metro down there...

These events should influence people's understanding of the issues and opportunities we face around our food production, and this is exciting.

You can always get in touch with me through my group profile on Meetup.
