What is your experience with MySQL?

I've worked at a start-up for the past 3 years on the LAMP stack - and now I'm working on my own start-up on LAMP too. I've done everything from SQL optimization, sharding, building an ORM, and a bit of analytics.

Would you be interested to present to the group? If so on what topic?

Definitely, I'm most interested in High Availability right now (as I'm learning more of the OPS part things currently). Particularly as it applies to MySQL in the cloud (read AWS).
