Social Hiking to Terranea Trail and Picnic Afterward.

Event Update & Game Plan: 1) I will not send out my contact info. Since this is fairly large group of about 70 people in three group, I will focus on people who are there ontime, instead of answering/texting for the people who are not there. So try to be there ontime. 2) We will wait about 5 minutes for people to get to the meeting location and we will do introduction of ourselves: Name, Ethnicity, Job, Place you live. This will take about 10 minutes, so late comer can catch up. 3) We will head toward SE direction to Terranea Resort for two miles. We will take break and take pictures at the end of the Beach Trail. Take 10-15 minutes break and head back to where we meet. 4) We'll have a lunch at near Point Vicente Interpretive Center. There are several tables for us to use. 5) Please bring food/drink for your picnic, 2 bottles of water, sun screen and comfortable shoes.

I just recently participated in social hiking from another group. The hike was beautiful, but meeting location was a bit hard to find and cost me $10 for parking. I found the better location for this hike and we can have picnic afterward. One good thing about this location is that this place allow us to bring our own alcohol to be consumed. A bottle of wine or beer afterward with sandwich sound wonderful overlooking the ocean. Come join me for this social hiking.

Thank you Joo Hong for organizing and introducing this hiking trail to us. The sea cave, tide pools and picturesque ocean view was awe inspiring and this location will become my new personal retreat.
Thank you everyone for your gracious hospitality in sharing wine and delicious sponge cake. I'm so glad to have been part of this meetup!

We have about 45 people joining from Asian Grupting and Entourage. I would like to limit total number to about 50 mainley due to limited table available at the picnic area.

Please note that this is not potluck. You'll bring what you want to eat. It is not enough bringing chips only.
