4+ MILE HIKE FOR BEGINNERS READY TO TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE OF A FEW HILLS
Please note that this is a beginner hike and we will be taking the hills at a slow pace. We will stop at the crest of each hill as we wait for the group to reconvene. The hike will begin on a flat trail and then we will make our way up to the ridge on a gradual incline. We will traverse a couple of hills and go back down to the flat trail. From there, we will challenge ourselves a bit as we hike up to the Reservoir Overlook. After coming down the hill, we'll make our way back to the trailhead on the flat trail and meander through a delightful creek trail.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THIS HIKE:
Recommendations include: trail shoes, socks with wicking ability, 2 liters of water, sunscreen, a hat or visor, and a snack.
From the 5 Freeway, exit Tustin Ranch Road and head toward the foothills. Drive approximately three miles. Get in the left hand lane and turn left on Pioneer WAY (signal).
