Here are 2 episodes of singers who sang with soul and I felt it.
One Hilarious, and the 2nd is an Awesome Performance!

So, C’mon and Pump it Up! We can sing with feeling just like them! We’re all cool singers whatever singing levels we’re at, especially with Liquid Courage! LOL
Hey, Guys n Gals! For those of you interested in karaoke, but haven't done so already, C'mon and lets do this! As for the newbies who've let all the regulars have all the fun, don't be a wallflower. C'mon and sing the night away! This karaoke gig has people of all kinds of singing levels who sing for genuine fun, regardless of what Simon Cowell on American Idol would say. =p. We encourage and humbly support each others' awesome voices. =)
As said before, Max has a tremendous selection of songs that no other karaoke place may have; this is what you call is the "Big Enchilada" of songs. No exaggeration here. I've been to other karaoke places with nice rooms, but see the same song lists over and over. This place is heavily loaded with 21,926 songs, most of which is English and a portion of Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Spanish. They got anywhere from rock classics of Journey, R&B slow jams of Brian Mcknight, to Taio Cruz of up-to-date. There's something for everyone.
Check the new and oldies on the site below; you'll see how many songs you know and Luv that'll make you wanna sing your heart out. Check it out! Trust me! You'll sing to your delight!

Max does not serve alcohol. So BYOB. So far, they've been cool in letting you bring in your own food and drinks for free; they may charge $1 fee. If you need liquid courage, go for it. But, use discretion and be safe. Don't drink and drive. Sober up with food/water.
Karaoke tends to be around $15-20/hr per person, depending on how many people show up. (We'll plan on staying for 3 hrs or so).

With LA ASIAN KARAOKE BOX, we are aiming for 2 rooms with 1st room with 12 heads(LAA Karaoke Box) and 2nd room with 13 heads(Entourage). Based on past experiences, it's better manage karaoke as a fair collective whole. Song control is emphasized here so everyone gets their money's worth.
Dinner Meetup time 7 pm at HONDA YA IZAKAYA Restaurant upstairs at same plaza above Max Karaoke. Please update if you're coming to dinner so I could let the restaurant know.

Event is now full up on both Entourage and Karaoke Box. RSVPs are closed.
If you're on the WAITING list, I'm sorry but this event is now full. Please join us at future karaoke events :). If you love karaoke, sign up on karaokebox... we try to have at least one a month.
To those that are CONFIRMED as going, please respect those who are on the waiting list and have to sit out... we keep track of NO SHOWS and FLAKES!
March 21
Hey Andrew, I'm checking in and good to go for Karaoke. I'll see you guys at 9:00 on Friday
March 20
we will add people in the order they were on the waiting list originally if noone else signs up starting Monday.
Please don't manually move yourself from the waiting list to going even if a spot is available!
March 16
we're thinking of swapping the dinner to Honda Ya... anyone have input?
We've done Manna a few times and it's somewhat of a pain since they don't let us sit down until a good number of people have arrived, and makes everyone order the same combination, etc... sometimes and organizing nightmare
