FREE to attend Saint-Saens Organ Symphony at Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.
Limited to 4 attendees. I have 4 free tickets to attend the Organ Symphony (Pacific Symphony) at Segerstrom Concert Hall. Dinner attendance prior to the concert is required for this event.
I have a restaurant voucher for Café Beau Soleil good for a $50 discount with a minimum purchase of $75 + tax + 18% gratuity. I think this voucher cost me about $10. So 4 diners may ideally enjoy a $20 dinner for about $10 + tax + tip.
Meet for dinner around 6 p.m. at Café Beau Soleil (953 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach 92660) and carpool/drive to Segerstrom Concert Hall (the curvy all-glass building next to Segerstrom Hall.)
This event may be cross-posted in other meetup groups. The 1st 4 people (ideally 2 male + 2 female attendees) combined from all meetup groups I posted to rsvp will receive a free ticket. I will try to timely update rsvps here.
Saint-Saëns' Organ Symphony
Aziz Shokhakimov, conductor
Tianwa Yang, violin
Paul Jacobs, organ
Saint-Saens' said he had "given everything I was able to give" to his "Organ" Symphony. It includes virtuoso keyboard passages, brilliant orchestral writing and the sound of a cathedral-sized organ - in this case, the magnificent William J. Gillespie Concert Organ. Lalo's "Symphonie espagnole" and Chabrier's, "Espana" add an Iberian touch to the program.
LALO: Symphonie espagnole
SAINT-SAENS: Symphony No. 3, "Organ"
