We're going Camping in the spring @ Joshua Tree... Can't wait!

This place is so beautiful and relaxing...

We Finally Secured Our Group Campsite for Joshua Tree for

May 12, 2012

Its coming up two years since I last visited Joshua Tree and how much I love the memories!

In May the weather is picture perfect!

Not too Cold and Definitely Not too Hot!

The Night is Pitch DARK with the exception of diamonds twinkling in the skies as the heaven opens up the splendor of the Milky Way!

Just Simply.... Awe-Struck!

We have secured a very well positioned  campsite that is literally down the street from our intended Hiking destination.

Lost Palms Oasis is a huge tourist location and people from all over come to this attraction.  Why?  Its simply just.... Beautiful!  An Oasis in the middle of the Desert coupled with miles of hiking trails for our enjoyment.

Please RSVP Now

Once I finished working out the details and itinerary for this Event I will broadcast it.

My first hike & camp out with the group. I'm glad i could follow someone getting there early (thanks Bik & Jam!). The group was very friendly and generous with all the extra food and drink! The best part was the campfire sing along and joking! I know this won't be my last outing with the group! Thanks "Mr. Pow" for making me feel welcomed!

Great to finally get out and see Joshua Tree, make some new friends, eat too much good food, and watch the beautiful stars at night.

Thank you everyone for coming out this past weekend for our Joshua Tree Camping Experience, it was a blast kicking with you all. I was so afraid my bronchitis was going to relapse from all the smoke of the campfire, but I pulled through. Thank you so much for everyone pitching in helping with planing for this event, you guys ROCK! I stayed up for most of the night but fell victim to my sleeping bag, Hats off to Ngan, Victor and Do for staying up all night casting magical spells around the burning campfire! I Look forward to camping with all of you again in Malibu coming up in July!

Hi I need a ride, thank you. I will be there at Alhambra bowling center for carpool. I have a tent for 3 people to share...actually i am also kind of a beginner camper. Besides personal stuff, I would like to contriubute/discuss Sat night meal with carpool ppl, as long as I know who they will be. Is that we will do grocery together before heading for camping ? Thanks ~~~

Don't be the like the Crocidile Hunter and pet them. And if you're allergic to bee stings, have you're epi-pin. Try to use discretion with you're surroundings, especially if you're gonna get hammered this weekend. Be careful. It's gonna be fun.

Snake Advisory: So, I spoke with the ranger. She said 4-5 days ago there was rattle snakes in the Cottonwood site. Rattlesnakes will let you know with a rattle. Sidewinder and gopher snakes will not. Tips are to watch where u step; buy that lantern and extra batteries so u can see where u step on your way to the restroom. They tend to be on the pavement and on the trails. Ranger said that if u stay out of their way, they'll stay away from you.

We're leaving Los Angeles for Joshua Tree at 12pm that gives us all more then enough time to buy last minute items from your grocers and orchestrate last minute food contribution with your carpool group. Remember to bring your own toiletries just in case the campsite facility runs out. Bring your own FLASHLIGHT or HEADLAMP AND PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SUPPLY OF WATER! And lastly but not least... as always BYOB!
