IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY AND CAREFULLY!!!!!!!!!
One Adventure Pass is required per vehicle and you could purchase it for $5 at REI Store or any sporting goods store. Otherwise you may be fined by the Park Ranger without a Permit.
Directions
to Bridge to Nowhere Hike
The Hike is subject to water condition in terms of safety and may be rescheduled accordingly to the next safest available Saturday to traverse the river. You will be updated one week from the date of the hike in terms of water condition.
From Los Angeles, go east on the 10 freeway.
Take the 210 freeway east (toward San Bernardino) exit Azusa Ave go North.
MAKE SURE TO PURCHASE YOUR ADVENTURE PASS BEFORE GOING
Continue North up the canyon for about 30 minutes, you will come to a large bridge that crosses the canyon, turn right and go east across the bridge and continue. You will pass a camp ground and restaurant called Follows Camp continue on the highway all the way to the end of the road.
DO NOT EXIT SHOEMAKER RD OR GLENDORA MOUNTAIN ROAD.
Stay on East Fork Road. East Fork Road turns into Camp Bonta Prairie Forks Rd that leads you right into the parking lot. The road will end in a parking lot just past the East Fork ranger station. There are restrooms there and at the bottom of the hill. The trailhead is at the far end of the parking lot.
PLEASE BE THERE ON TIME AT 7:00AM SHARP BECAUSE THIS TIME WE WILL LEAVE FOR THE TRAIL PROMPTLY AT 8AM. YOU DO NOT WANT TO COME LATE AND MISS HIKING WITH THE GROUP... YOU WILL GET LOST IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMEONE SHOWING YOU THE WAY, THERE ARE 7 RIVER CROSSINGS. THE OTHER REASON YOU WANT TO BE ON TIME IS BECAUSE THE PARKING LOT GETS PACKED AND I MEAN PACK LIKE A ZOO! IF YOU COME LATE YOU HAVE NO WILL HAVE NOWHERE TO PARK! THAT'S HOW POPULAR THIS HIKE IS. ALSO IT GIVES EVERYBODY ENOUGH TIME TO GEL UP ON SUNSCREEN AND USE THE RESTROOM BEFORE WE START.
Dogs are allowed but I DO NOT recommend it! Every dog I see that comes on this hike gets so exhausted at the end of it, especially small dogs.
REMEMBER to PACK your Lunch!
This is a whole day event and we'll return to the parking lot by 5pm. Please schedule your day accordingly.
After our Bridge to Nowhere Hike we will hit up Dinner location yet TBA.
I recommend you wear a comfortable pair of water sandals...
Please Bring The Following:

This is a very popular hike called "The Bridge to Nowhere". This is the most fun and adventurous hike I have ever done. This is a very beautiful hike though canyons and river beds and no doubt the best in the entire range. I highly recommend this hike to any hikers. This is gonna be an easy 10 miles round trip hike set at a slow pace so we can soak in all the beauty of nature. There are stream crossings and you will get soaked so wearing sandals or shoes you don't mind getting soaked in. Also wear shorts made with material that is quick drying. You must be able to carry at least a minimum of three liters water. We will hike up to the Bridge to Nowhere and have lunch while watching people bungee jump off the bridge. After the hike we're planning on making up for the calories we've burned at a local eatery yet to be announced.
I know 7:00am in the morning is really early to be there but we're planning on staying there longer during our lunch break at the bridge and enjoy jumping in the swimming hole!!

Paul Loves His Margharita Flavor Electrolyte Gummy Cubes!

All the people who are sitting under this tent are being prepped for Bungee Jumping!

Thanks Andrew! I love that sound track. Too bad no ankle jump. If I do I wanna do ankle forward jump. I'm sure if you don't like 'little danger' you will not do this kinda stuff, right??... :) Why wait till next year?? Put one up and I'll join you!! I'm gonna sky dive in July, send me message with your # if interested, unless you're going to Hollister with Jorgy. Otherwise see you at next event!

Woot! Woot! The best and most crazy-fun-wild-adventurous and scenic hike that I've had to date.. and it was my very first time to get to "Bridge-to-Nowhere"! I so love the energy and enthusiasm of everybody who came and conquered the steep cliffs and rocks, river-trekking, waterfalls-jumping and swimming holes bathing!! It so nice to just feel-at-home and comfortable with everyone! =) It was one hell of a great full-day workout!!! Thou I missed the "Bunjee Jumping" part but I had a blast!!! Let's do it again next year!!! =D
June 19, 2012
Likewise, Awesome Ziplining Vid!!! I dig the Top Gun music; very appropriate for this danger endeavor. =) The ankle jumps was not this time. But I heard ankle may be more prone to injury. We were just hooked to the front only. I jumped forward dive for the first jump and then backwards as shown. We'll do it again on next year for the 4th Annual Bridge to Nowhere Hike, Nam!
June 19, 2012
Holy S#*? Andrew, that is so awesome!!! They don't have ankle harness jumps?? Wish I could've been there! I went ziplining that same day (which was oh so fun too!!) otherwise I would've gone and done the bungee with you guys. Check out zipline clip I put together:

Hey, Entourage! Only 2 jumped off this Bridge to Nowhere. Jorgy & I encourage you Guys N Gals to do it next year! C'mon and lets get a few heads to TAKE THAT LEAP OF FAITH!!!
June 19, 2012
Following the lemmings off to the cliff was an awesome experience. Thanks Kungpow and Entourage for making time off work well spent. =) My thoughts about safety: if you feel you're muscles tightening up with weakness and fatigue after that 3-5 miles, pop those yummy electrolyte gummy bears or electrolyte packs, in addition to your food and water. It'll get u get refreshed for the hike back. Anyways, if anybody wants to go bungee next year, check out the cool link below in the comment section. Only 2 jumped of Bridge. Next year, let's get some more to take that Leap of Faith! =D
