CirCle K RIDING STABLES & Portos, check them out on YeLP!
This will be a very good intro to horseback riding for any future horseback riding adventures you may go on!
As far as what to wear, long pants (unless you like chaffed legs), top of your choice, Closed toed shoes is necessary in case you get stepped on. Bring sunblock and perhaps a hat if you don't want to tan.
I spoke to Javier from the ranch, he told me there are several different rides, 1 hour and 2 hour. He said the 2 hour ride could actually get us to the Hollywood sign. We will do the longer ride which is $45 for 2 hour, with party of 10 or more there is a $5 discount for each person, end up being 40/person not including tip!
Cost
$45.00 for a 2 hrs ride discounted if we can get more then 10 riders so what are you waiting for Click on that RSVP Button
For all you newbies, the 2 hour ride will be totally fine, just make sure you tell the guys that your completely new and they will put you on a safe horse, you will be very sore after the ride however, keep that in mind! The 2 hour ride was chosen because it is more scenic!
P.S Bring Carrots and Apples for the horses!
Did I mention Porto's after our adventure?!
Please let me know if i'm missing anything! Thank you guys and girls!

:D I had more fun than I expected to be honest! I had a lot of fun learning how to work with my horse and was able to trot a couple of times. Apparently my horse was the bully of the group so naturally I got a kick being partnered up with him HAHA.
Portos was great and was a great choice for the group afterwards!
Lastly the company was awesome! Great bunch of people to hang out with and talk about what other activities that the group might be interested in trying. Overall a well spent Sunday morning horse back riding, hanging with cool peeps!
Thanks Evelyne for hosting this event. Would definitely do it again!

@Evelyn: Great news that Javier can accommodate this many ppl. Must be a pretty big ranch. No worries, if you like to open up to more ppl to join, you'll have support and help from us. ;) Maybe see if we can get additional discounts on the 2-hrs ride. I like that one. ;)

@Evelyn: What!! These saddles are not like cushions? Darn, I'll just bring a pillow to sit on. =P
July 3
@Michele, You will be totally fine! You may be very sore when you get off as long as your ok with that, but it will be more of a scenic ride if we do the 2 hour ride :)

For
I
Its going 2 be my first time riding a horse. Is one hour better? Or I can do two hours. Thanks

Vic, Javier literally said, " i can accomodate up to 30-40 riders at one time" dont even know if thats safe. So if more people want to join I can def open up the group and let him know. I just dont really know if 30 beginner riders would be safe? Ill def give a 101 lesson to everyone before the ride.
