Seattle Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Doodle Romps Monthly Meetup

  • Feb 9, 2013 · 11:00 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

Meetup begins at 11:00 AM in Magnuson Park, in the area behind the small dog enclosure. When entering through the main entrance, walk across the bridge and turn right. We often go down to the water after playing on the field--especially if it is a hot day. Due to other obligations (or just sleeping in), the 11:00 AM group may be quite small. Please don't despair--We generally have 18-35 dogs over the course of the next hour and a half--just not all at once. If you arrive a little late and we're not on the field, we're probably down by the water. To get there, go back past the bridge (don't cross it) and follow the trail for about 1/2 mile down to the water.

Olive has been with us three weeks. We are workinh hard on the total " puppy peeing Everytime we meet a new friend " stage. everyone wants to pet her. :) She is pretty good at home but so excited to meet everyone. We will be sure to make the next romp! We love her to pieces!

It can be very "puppy normal" to excite pee so best plan for now is to not have the attention go to her right away, keep your foot ont he leash when you greet people to prevent her from jumping, then ask her to "sit" and ask the petter to pet her low and SLOW under her chin or shoulder area, not over the head, that should help. :)

Dixie has been home bound during these past few months and is looking forward to this weekend doodle romp. Dixie wants me to pass along that she has a lot of pent up puppy energy pent up and looks forward to a good doggie day at the park!

Does anyone know of a good dog sitter? Would rather not put our dog in a kennel while we are on vacation.

Oskar's first romp! We've been waiting for him to grow so he can hold his own, but he's still pretty little...:)
