Since this information was old, I have decided to update it. We don't really have a plan. We just show up, hang out, and open to any discussion. Bring snackies and such if you want, it is greatly appreciated by all who do show. It is all very relaxed. Bring any questions you might have, curiosities you want to share, or attractive people you wish to pass around ; P As I and boreas are unable to find a schedule for the park, sometimes it turns out WeHo park is having an event, and spaces are limited. If that happens, we might just find a shady spot on the grass, or relocate to nearby caffeine supply station (Java Detour, Coffee Bean, Starbucks) so, if you don't see a rainbow pentacle sign somewhere about, try one of those places is your best bet. Don't be afraid to show up and say HI. We don't bite, unless you want us too :)

The Annual LA PAgan Pride day. Each year it is a day for all the LA/OC (and surrounding area) pagans to meet, frolic, attend workshops, meet authors, hear local pagan bands, watch performances and just have fun and being openly pagan. Chris might even be doing a workshop (I know right?) There is no charge, but they like it if you can bring canned goods to donate, which go to a local food bank to help feed the homeless. For more info, or to join the Pagan Pride email list, here is a link to thier website http://www.paganprid ela.org/future/futur emain.html Hope to see you all there. If anyone needs or wants to carpool, PLEASE don't hesitate to ask.

I hope everyone had a happy Lammas, as we have now passed the first festival as the year winds down. August 1st is often considered the first harvest, and is associated with all the fruits of summer. Some pagans also take this time to see what has come into fruition in thier lives, and what may need to be tended further and require more effort to manifest. With the Sun shining in Leo, and the Full Moon will be shining in it's opposite Aquarius, alot of Leo's are celebrating thier birthdays, and we have the element of Fire, in it's brilliant fixed mode, associated with the Sun, Lordship, creativity, fun, and innocence (often reflected in children, but we can see that in our own innocence). What things have you seen manifest this year? What would you still like to have happen? Where do you feel are your strengths? What activity do you have the most fun? Blessed Be!

OMFG!!!!! We're SO THERE!! It's $10, bring a blanket to lay on, a LOW chair if you want, a picnic dinner, and as much booze as your pagan heart can pack on your personage. I recommend taking a bus down SMB, cause screw driving (it gets mobbed). See you there! -Seamus ******************** ******************** ******************** ******************* directed by robin hardy (1973 88 mins) gates 7:30 pm movie 9:00 pm no reservation necessary $10 donation tickets available at gate parking available inside as a courtesy to other moviegoers: NO TALL CHAIRS!! Sexy, strange and downright eerie, this UK cult horror film is a bonafide classic. A religious police sargeant arrives on a small island to investigate the disappearance of a teenage girl, and discovers a secret society of pagans, who might be sacrificing maidens in a heathen ritual. Where else can you find pagan flower girls romping naked amid ancient stonehenge sets, Christopher Lee in drag, and the ravishing Britt Ekland doing a magikal dance?! Wicker Man is part summer of love, part paranoid horror and all weird fun. Special DJ set from UK legend Andy Votel founder of the Finders Keepers, fine purveyors of turkish psychedelic music, hungarian rock, and funky iranian fuzz. courtesy of lionsgate home entertainment

As July is often blistering hot, lets take a moment and try to cool down, and think the most cooling thing around, water! Pool, Ocean, Bathtub, Jacuzzi, Lake, River, or Stream? How do you honor the power of Water? What are some personal experiences that you have had with water and magic or spirituality? Splish Splash!!
