After receiving feedback at our last meetup, we've decided to alternate between formal presentations and informal discussion groups each month.
This month we're meeting at City Grid for a round-table discussion where members will talk about whatever they've been working on, the operational and systems challenges they've solved, and what's new in our space. Our format is two or three 10-15 minute lightning talks to frame discussion, each followed by 20-30 minutes of open discussion. Expect to participate in a lot of opinionated discussion on a lot of different technologies.
# Introducing Redis Inspector and Redis Monitor
Presented by Lance Lakey, Operations Engineer, spire.io ( @lancelakey on GitHub and Twitter)
Redis Inspector is a Ruby script created for engineers with fat fingers, it only allows you to inspect Redis, it prohibits you from let's say accidentally modifying Redis. Redis Monitor takes the output from redis-cli monitor and makes it easier to read.
# Interested in presenting?
We are accepting proposals for 5-15 minute lightning talks which we'll use to give overviews and set topics for discussion. If you're interested, message Lars or Carlo with the title and a short abstract of your talk. We are also seeking formal presentations (20-30 minutes) for our May meetup, so if you've got a longer talk in mind let's talk.
# City Grid Media is sponsoring this event.

See you there!
