We are a group of friendly women of all ages, located in the Bend, Oregon area, inviting all women for activities and get-togethers during weekdays, and sometimes on weekends.
By joining our group you get to meet great, fun-loving women who may well become your new best friends. Our activities include luncheons, discussion groups, walks, wine tastings, exercise, sports, day trips and social get-togethers. Any member of our group can suggest and post an event. Just check the "Pages Section" or ask PJ. If you like to laugh, have fun and talk, you will fit right in with this group.

For this group to succeed, we need member participation. It is easy to follow but takes courage to lead. I realize many of you just aren't sure if you want to commit to any regular activity. In order for this group to succeed, we need members to volunteer to put on events whether once or continuously. PLEASE, I NEED YOUR HELP, I can not do it all myself. If you would like to put on an event and need help, please feel free to send me a message through the site or call me at 916-607-6400.
We require that all members post a recent close-up photo of themselves. We recommend you take within 3-4 feet of you and with few distractions around you. This is so we can recognize attendees at events where we car-pool, meet in public places, or open a member’s home for an event. If you don't know how to download a photo to the Meetup site, contact one of the organizers for help.

Some of our events have a maximum sign-up number. Once that number is reached, the system will not accept additional registrations. People can, however, opt to put their names on a wait list. This way, if someone cannot make it due to a change of plans or an emergency, they can cancel and the spot will become available to the first person on the wait list.
This system works great, but sometimes people forget to cancel or they cancel too late. If that happens, people on the waiting list who would have love to attend the event won’t know that there is an opening. So in order to be fair to everyone, please note our cancellation policy:
Canceling attendance at an event with a waiting list and/or reservation must occur no less than 24 hours in advance to allow people on the list to be notified. If there is an emergency or an unforeseen circumstance, the event organizer/hostess must be contacted immediately. Failing to cancel 24 hours in advance or contacting the event organizer in case of an emergency results in a “No Show” entry in the event registration list. Three “No Shows” means the loss of event attendance privileges at any event.
With the exception of official event sponsors, no business solicitations or activities are allowed at any of our events. Anyone interested in becoming a group or event sponsor, please contact PJ.
Release of Liability
For activities that involve hiking or boating, a Release of Liability is posted for each event. Your RSVP signifies that you agree. The Release of Liability form is posted in the Pages Section of the Ladies and Friends meetup site.
