Downtown Davidson Concert on the Green

A summer family favorite, Concerts on the Green are the first and third Sunday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the Village Green in front of the Public Library at the intersection of Main Street and Concord Road.

Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and family, comfy chairs, a blanket or a picnic and to come early to find seats. You can also make it a date night in Davidson by visiting local restaurants and retail establishments, then strolling on over to the Village Green and enjoying some great music under the stars.

Concerts on the Green is a free annual concert series. This event is free to the public and open to all ages.

All concerts are “rain or shine”. Food and beverages are available for purchase by an array of fantastic local vendors at each concert. In addition, attendees also have their choice of some fantastic Davidson restaurants. Coolers and picnics are welcome.

Let's each bring our favorite wine to taste and share with others.

Tents: 10’ x 10’ tents are welcome but must be set up on the perimeter of the event area.

Parking: Free public parking is available all around the event site. However, please pay attention to signs posted prohibiting parking.

I will wait at the corner of Main and Davidson Rd, where there are usually signs. Or you can text me at[masked] to find us. It gets crowded early, so arriving before 6 is recommended.

Note: I usually set up by 5:45 and recommend to everyone to get there early if you can. I sit near the trees that are along Main St (right side of the lawn facing the library) about 2/3 of the way back. If it is a big crowd, you should be able to find us. I will wait by the corner until 6:00 to corral anyone looking for us. If you come after 6:00, you will have to find us. You can text me, but sometimes I don't hear it. Hoping for the best in weather, but you never know.
