Hi, I am Patricia, Mild Mannered Choir Director from Belmont and Organizer of the newly formed Ground Zero Over 40. I love tasting new wines although I cannot say I am an expert, know about legs, but not noses-hehehe! Just lil' ole me!!!

How often do you drink wine?

Whenever.

What is your favorite type of wine? (cab, chard,merlot,pinot,riesling,etc)

merlot, port (I know, two opposites but it depends on the season and my mood)

Where are your favorite places to drink wine?

The CRU Wine Shop in Ballantyne is a regular. Great friends, soft music, candlelight, wonderful food and a fully stocked and extensive collection of fine wines! Charles (the proprietor) always welcomes everybody at the door! That's a BIG plus! PLUS, he leaps over tables to shake everybody's hands as they leave AND hugs the women, that's a BIG, BIG plus! How could you not feel welcome in that sort of atmosphere?

I have no idea, because when I got there nobody knew who the Wine Enthusiasts were, the group there was just the Good Eats and Meets and everybody at the table was not sure to which they belonged. But the crowd was standing room only so it was a good crowd! I was just glad there were no pyrotechnic special effects!!! hahaha! A fun place to meet!

I am interested in coming to the new years event you are planning. But I am in a wheelchair. I can walk a short distance and can go up steps using my canes but if I need to sit for very long I will need my manual wheelchair. Does your house have enough room for me to come and get around. I hate being stuck in a corner. The wheelchair is very light and can be carried by 2 people with ease.
