The course will be repeated in Sept. and anyone coming in late can pick up their classes or any of them they miss because of vacation, business trips, etc. can come free of charge. The $40. covers the cost of the books, $35. and $5. to keep the doors open.

This was my second class, but it was the FIRST class--for me--where I had had the chance to read the material beforehand. What a difference. As I read at home, I began to see where the great concepts of the Founders had come from, then, as I heard the Lecturer talk about the same, I appreciated their origins even more. The course is only $40. Tell any friend who might be interested that the class is great and there's still 7 classes left (that is, including the the next session, March the 4th, if every chapter constitutes a class--which seems to be the program). Anywhoo, here are my thoughts on what was the "gist" of Lecture 3: it's not that the founders were geniuses (though Jefferson, at least, was probably a bona fide one)--it's that they gleaned/borrowed the greatest concepts on humanity, society and government from the most genial thinkers of their time!

    Hope to see you--and new faces--on the 4th! :-)

I really enjoyed the Constitution class last week. (I came in after the course had begin.) It was my first class; I found it highly informative and inspiring.
