Obligatory General Info

The Lancaster County Photography Meetup Group is simply a group of individuals who are passionate about photography and meet monthly. Oh, and we're pagans... no just kidding. We're mostly Rastafarians.

Listen, we don't care if you've been shooting for 40 years or if you just found your first camera on the sidewalk this morning and want to know what that silver button thingy does, we're glad to have you on board. There's a wide range of photographers with different skill levels in this group, so whatever you do with photography you're going to be welcome here. Unless of course your only area of photographic interest is taking pictures of your cat, Mrs. Slipperbottoms, dressed in the outfits you personally crocheted for her, then we might have a problem. But other than that, you're in.



All I ask is that you are either:

A. Looking to learn more about and/or looking to improve your own photography skillz (That's right, I dropped a z on you.)

or

B. Have a willingness and/or passion to share what you do know about photography with others.

or if you really prefer the least popular option...

C. You can be the creepy person who just comes to the meetups, takes pictures, doesn't talk to anyone, then leaves. But honestly, do you really need a group to do that?

We meet once a month on the first Thursday of the month to learn and share photos. We also like to get out and about and shoot photos pretty often. Everyone's ideas on potential meetups are welcome and, because I'm not a total control freak, I often let you head up your own ideas for get-togethers, I'm just that kind of guy.

So, if you like photography, hate kittens in home-made clothing, and like getting off the couch once a month, welcome to our group!
