My 4 Favorite Photographers | Assignment: Lancaster County Clichés

Presenters: See Below.

4 of our members, Taylor Brown, Benoit Barbe, Tom Debiec and John Flinchbaugh will each introduce you to 4 of their favorite photographers and why they are inspired by them.

Assignment: Lancaster County Clichés

Covered bridges, the Amish, roadside stands, and cornfields.  We all know what outsiders think of when they think of Lancaster County, but that doesn't mean we should ignore the beauty that surrounds us just because we're so used to it.  Go out there this month and capture a bit of Lancaster County and make it your own.

A few reminders about some of the basic rules of the assignment:

• Members may submit 2 photos.

• Photos should be emailed to us the Wednesday prior to the Thursday meeting.

If you have any additional questions about submitting photos or the monthly assignment in general, consult the Assignment FAQ or the Upload Instructions by clicking on the links below:

Thank you so much, lot's of inspiration from last nights presenters. I would like to know everyone's favorite photographers now - and what draws them to that person's work.

It was fun and interesting to see where others have gotten inspiration for their photography, especially from those who are so radically different from my own style. Thanks to all of you who presented.

Hi everyone, just a few reminders about tomorrow night's meetup. Remember to send in your photos for the assignment tonight if you can. I might not be able to get to the stragglers tomorrow. Remember to bring in your old photography magazines for member recycling! Spread the knowledge! And now hat we're squarely in summertime you don't need a parking pass for the Millersville lot, so come right on in! See you tomorrow, and bring a friend!

As I've rushed around to finish up slides and get images to other people, I now remember that the meeting is NOT this Thursday....next Thursday!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
