Note we have changed the time of this event to 1:00 pm for snow cleanup. If the bad weather persists through the afternoon, we will let you know about the status of the event by 11:00 am on the day of the event in this space and via email.
If you cannot attend the event because of the time change or because of the weather please alert your mentor.
PLEASE READ: YOU MUST SEND AN EMAIL TO ONE OF THE MENTORS LISTED BELOW AND GET A CONFIRMATION THAT THAT MENTOR HAS ROOM FOR YOU IN HIS/HER GROUP.
The following mentors have agreed to lead an excursion around downtown Lititz. They will be available to assist and answer any questions you might have about basic photography.
If you've ever wondered how to accomplish some kind of photography, now is your chance to ask - and work with the mentor.
Here's a current list of those mentors that have committed to work with you on February 15th:
Brian Evans - [masked] (All spots taken)
Benoit - [masked] (All spots taken)
Blake Ziegler - [masked] (All spots taken)
Mark Weinhold - [masked] (All spots taken)
John Flinchbaugh - [masked] (All spot taken)
To participate, you need to contact the mentor of your choice from the above list. He or she can only work with four "students" for the day. You must email a mentor listed above at their email address listed to the right of their name and get a confirmation that a specific mentor will work with you that day.
On Saturday morning, February 15th, at 10 AM, link up with the mentor you signed up with the location designated below. Then each group will go off in their own pursuit of the perfect picture.

A tripod is highly recommended, for better quality pix and so that the mentor can see the same thing you are looking at through your viewfinder.
Meet us for a photowalk in Downtown Lititz at their annual Fire & Ice Festival!
Ice sculptures scattered around downtown and a chili cook off for charity are the main attractions and should provide plenty of photo opportunities.
We'll gather at the Train Station at the front of Lititz Springs Park (Next to Wilbur Chocolate) before we set out on our walk. There's parking along Main Street and North Broad Street as well as in Lititz Springs Park itself. Blake is the point person for this event, so be sure to check in with him when you arrive.
We'll stroll the streets of Lititz taking in the quaint shops and beautiful ice sculptures. For the gastronomically brave among us you can try out the various Chili's available for sampling at the cook-off (there is a price for entry in to the cook-off area at the high school a short distance away. Check the Fire & Ice web page for more info on that: http://www.lititzlion...)
Rally at the Bull's Head Public House
Tired and cold from shooting all that ice? Well get yourself a "winter warmer" at our rallying point for the afternoon. After you're done shooting head on over to the Bull's Head Public House at 14 East Main Street adjacent to the General Sutter Inn on the main square for a beverage and some photo chit-chat. The Bull's Head is modeled after a traditional English Pub and offers many a fine beverage and some great food as well.
