Emailing your monthly photo assignments is as easy as 1,2,3!
1. Renaming your files
Rename your files so they include your name, the numerical order you want them to be displayed, and the month of the assignment.
For example: The files DSCN05678.jpg and DSCN06024.jpg should be renamed to 1BrianEvansJuly.jpg and 2BrianEvansJuly.jpg before you email them.
2. Preparing your file
Make sure your image is no smaller than 2300 pixels on the longest edge. It can be bigger if you like, but we’ve found that anything smaller than 2300 will not always display correctly coming out of the projector (too small) and anything larger than 1920 pixels just doesn’t matter in terms of increased quality.
Also, please keep you file sizes reasonable. An image around 2300 pixels on the long edge doesn’t need to exceed 3 mb for our display purposes.
If you need help resizing your photos, consult one of the guides linked below, google "resize a photo using (insert your image editor name here)" or contact a tech savvy group member.
