Ever wondered what is it like to sip a pint of beer in a German beer hall (large German pub)? Fond of sampling some German food? Want to remind yourself why Weissbier (wheat beer) can be so refreshing? Now is your chance! We are meeting at the “Die Koelner Bierhalle” in Park Slope, Brooklyn for a fun evening out. This place is a hidden gem in NYC, with 30 different beers on tap, great snacks and full menu. We will have part of the hall exclusively for ourselves. Some of us may practice German for a part of the evening, but even if you don't speak any German at all and you're just curious to know how to enjoy a pint the German way, feel free to RSVP.
Please, this event is only for people 21 and above who would like to enjoy a few drinks and or eat! Remember to bring a valid id.
Please note also that this is place is an authentic and popular beer hall meaning that it gets crowded and noisy into the evening.
Getting there by subway : take 2,3,4,5 or B,D,N,Q,R train to Atlantic Avenue / Pacific St. About 20 min from Times Square.
1. When you RSVP, please write what you SPEAK and what you would like to PRACTICE in the RSVP section. This way members know if their language will be available!
2. Please CHECK-IN with us and fill name tag out, this lets all know you are part of our group, facilitates you going up to anyone and saying hello and using their name thus creating a friendlier atmosphere!
3. We will collect a pretzel fee ($1-$2) that will be entirely spent on the yummy German pretzels to be shared among the members!
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
