Our speaker for April will be Barb Kinsey"
A massage therapist since the mid 90's Barb keeps expanding her skills and knowledge in the many the healing arts. She is also an ordained minister, Reiki master and embraces her GrandMother staus these days. Her interest in health at all levels led her to facilitate a healthy living class that meets at 12:30 on Fridays which encourages her to take care of her health. When we know better we can do better . After going the tradition treatment for cancer in '03, Barb has dove into learning natural remidies to avoid the long recovery period she experienced from the toxic drugs. And, she is happy to report other than yearly female exams has not seem a doctor in all that time.
Barb Says: I value the information that comes from the health newsletters I get and when I saw The Tooth Summitt, several free interviews with experts in the dental field I signed up. Again, we need to educate ourselves and not just fall in line with what "professionals" tell us we should be doing. And, has anyone ever thought about the connection between the "professionals" and the insurance companies? This information will get your attention and give you the information to take charge of your dental health.
Please do not judge the size of the crowd by the attendance list in meet-up. This group was started long before Meet-up and many have never joined. There are always at least 40 people in attendance and lots of times upward of 60-70. LOTS of great dishes to try. See you there.
