The Lansing Raw Food Meetup Group Monthly Meetup

  • January 7, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is no longer available

An amazing raw food potluck with over 50 people in regular attendance which means lots of exciting and delicious raw food dishes to sample. We meet always the first Monday of the month at 6:00 at First Christian Church Because of Labor Day we will be meeting the second Monday in September. Please bring a raw vegan dish to share. BRING YOUR RECIPE PLEASE. Please include on the recipe, your name and the book it came from if applicable. I compile them all on my web site for people to share. Please no canned, processed or bottled foods. Please use all raw fresh ingredients. Dehydrated is acceptable. Table service will be provided. We eat shortly after 6:00 and then have a speaker at 7:00 and try to be wrapped up by 8:00.

Our speaker this month is Gail Moreno.  Gail is a nurse and respiratory therapist that found once she got into medicine she was more compatible with alternative health techniques.

She is now a colon hydro-therapist (she took over from Nancy P) practising in Mason.

She will be talking with us about the power of cleansing.  Not just colon cleansing but keeping the body clean on a regular basis.  Her talk is funny and informative.   Join us and you just might discover a New Years resolution.

Please do not judge the size of the crowd by the attendance list in meet-up. This group was started long before Meet-up and many have never joined. There are always at least 40 people in attendance and lots of times upward of 60-70. LOTS of great dishes to try.

See you there. Cricket www.livinghiho.com where all the recipes from previous potlucks are housed Click here to be added to the e-newsletter

Hi Melissa, everyone just takes a little bit of each dish to sample so a normal size dish like for 15-20 is fine. Can't wait to try fennel orange. I love fennel

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
