I am 35, live in Charlotte but grew up in downtown Lansing. I have always loved photography. I've had my first DSLR for a year and a half. Looking forward to learning more!
I have a Canon XSi that I'm still figuring out how to use. Love taking pictures!

Hi josette~ I just read your profile about being more quiet and withdrawn, wow, that describes me to a tee. I need to get out more. Are you finding different way to cope?
Thanks for your note Josette! I am looking forward to meeting you and the group soon and learning from everyone's unique experiences. Although we all expect to lose our parents someday, the loss of a woman's mother affects us in ways unexplainable, especially to those who still have their mothers. I'm still looking for the words to express my feelings of loss, maybe there are no words significant enough. I hope to find that I'm not alone in these feelings! Thank you again!
I don't think I've read any books, but I've been to a few websites that I liked such as www.soulcysters.com and they have a list of books on that site. Also, metformin works great!! Have you started that yet? Not sure if/how long you have been trying, but some people have NO problem at all getting pregnant. You just never know! I had also seen a reporductive endocrinologist even before I wanted to get pregnant (that knew a lot more than my OB/GYN about PCOS) so that was helpful too. Good luck!
Thanks for your welcome message. My mother has been gone for 7 years due to breast cancer. I still miss her to this day. I know that she is with me in spirit, maybe guiding more now than when she was physically alive. I still miss laughing with her. I look forward to meeting you too!
