I FINALLY got a reply to several emails I sent to MSU.  Here is a copy of what I got from them. I still suggest that you follow the rather easy directions I gave you in the update. See you tomorrow night at the Gardens!!

We are located at 1066 Bogue Street. Here is a link to a map of our Gardens, showing detours: http://www.hrt.msu.edu/directions/

I recommend avoiding Grand River all-together and coming into the Gardens from the South end of campus.
