National Dog Bite Prevention Week Event for Children, Parents, and Pups!

We’re on a mission to reduce the millions of dog bites that occur to children each year and it all starts with education. That’s why we’re holding a fun and interactive book reading in honor of National Dog Bite Prevention Week to teach kids how to interact with dogs. Join us at The Cooper-Siegel Community Library on Sunday - May 18th for a reading of our very own children’s book, “Scout Says, ‘Dogs Get Nervous, Too.’” Each kid that attends will get a copy of the book to take home!

There will also be a Pet Parade, for the children to show off their favorite canine, feline, or exotic pet (on leash or in a portable cage, please), AND the opportunity to meet a Certified Therapy Dog!!
