Off-Leash Playtime @ Brady's Run Park

Bring your large dogs for a play session with other big dogs at the new dog area in Brady's Run Park. This off-leash area for dogs is fairly new -- it opened in spring 2008 -- and has separate areas for large and small dogs (bring both, if you have them!). Bring your leashed dog (and a water bowl, if you prefer to use your own)

Brady's Run Park , Beaver County's largest park (more than 2,000 acres) features an ice rink, four tennis courts and an indoor walking/jogging track. Other recreational facilities at Bradys Run Park include a ball field complex (one baseball and five softball fields) a horse rink, horseshoe courts, walking trails, a 22-acre lake to fish year round permitting non-motorized boating, and picnic tables and playgrounds at various sites throughout the park. An outdoor activity center features an in-line skating rink, action/skate park, two basketball and four tennis courts. You'll also find a one-mile paved, outdoor walking track.

Find more activities to do while you're in the area in the Beaver County Visitor's Guide. Directions to the park. Once inside the park entrance, proceed through the park on that main road. At the first stop sign, you'll take a RIGHT TURN. Continue until you come to a second stop sign (at which the right turn is instructed to keep moving). Stop, then drive straight ahead. You'll see the dog park area, with plenty of parking, on your left. It's between the horseshoe rings and the banquet hall at the end of the park, under the Rt. 60 bridges. If you need additional directions, call the Beaver County Recreation Department at (724) 846-5600. Google Map of the park

Thanks, Chris! Sobee will avoid the Gear and Beer, and we'll probably try the dog park again next Sunday at noon :-)

It has definitely kept raining, and the park is a bit soggy.

We will schedule this same park meetup for other sundays in the future :-)

Imm also looking into the gear and beer event, to see if we dovetail an off-leash park visit off that event.

I'll be coming from an ice hockey pick-up game @ the Brady's Run ice rink, which is about five minutes down the road from the dog park. My game begins @ 10:10 and should be over @ 11:30. I'll be at the dog park with Sobee once I get my gear off and get back into street clothes -- probably a couple minutes after noon :-)

We just moved to the area and would love to come! Depending on the timing of the help we have to get furniture off the front porch (YIKES!) we'll be there!
    Thanks for the invite!

I want to try this park so much but Sunday doesn't work for us because we have family visiting. Have fun!
