4th Annual Paws for the Cure (Susan G. Komen Foundation)

Celebrate the 20th year of Komen Pittsburgh and 4th annual Paws for the Cure® dog walk featuring a one-mile walk through the scenic Hartwood Acres.

Enjoy many fun activities for guests of all ages, even if you don't have a dog of your own.

Andrew Stockey, the Evening News Anchor/Sports Director at WTAE-TV and Shelley Duffy of STAR 100.7 Pittsburgh, will serve as emcees.

All proceeds benefit the Komen Pittsburgh Affiliate. Registrants receive the newly designed Paws for the Cure t-shirt.

Join us as we celebrate our 20th year and our 4th annual Paws for the Cure® dog walk featuring a one-mile walk through the scenic Hartwood Acres. We will have lots of fun activities for guests of all ages even if you don't have a dog of your own. Andrew Stockey, the Evening News Anchor/Sports Director at WTAE-TV and Shelley Duffy of STAR 100.7 Pittsburgh, will serve as emcees.
We are pleased to announce that Sydney Hutchko, a local emerging vocalist, will lend her talents at this year's dog walk. All proceeds benefit the Komen Pittsburgh Affiliate.

Online registration will close at noon on Friday, October 5, 2012.

9:30 a.m. - Registration, T-shirt Pick- Up & Sponsor and Vendor Tents Open
10:00 a.m. - Welcome Ceremony
10:30 a.m. - Dog Costume and Musical Sit & Stay Contests
11:30 a.m. - Walk Starts
12:15 p.m. - Raffle
12:45 p.m. - Closing Ceremony
Enjoy vendor and sponsor tents, agility demonstrations, doggy contests in the contest area and entertainment for the whole family beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Entry Fee
$25 Adult participant (age 18 or older)
$15 Youth participant (age 17 or younger)

Deadlines
Online registration with guarantee of shirt size September 15, 2012
Online registration has been extended until noon Friday October 5, 2012

Fundraise

Make an impact in the fight against breast cancer. Collecting donations will bring us one-step closer to the cures. Once registered, you can begin to use our easy online fundraising tools, found in your Fundraising Center, to collect donations from friends, family and co-workers.

Rules for Participation
Handler must be 18 years or older.

Leashes required. No Flexi-leads or leashes longer than six feet.
No dogs in heat.
Dogs must have a current license and vaccinations.
Dogs must wear an ID tag.
Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership and clean up after their dogs. Clean-up bags will be provided.
No skateboards, bicycles or in-line skates permitted.
No pullcarts or pet carriages.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian at all times.

This event will occur rain or shine.
We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds. Your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen Pittsburgh Affiliate.
