Hi, Diane. I run an Advanced Dungeons and Dragon 2nd Edition group that meets every-other Saturday. I'm not sure if that's what your husband and children would be looking for (it's a bit more complex than basic DnD), but my daughter Josie plays with the group and she is 12. I know finding the right people is tough, but I have met a number of the regular members here and they're mostly decent folks.

    Diane,

There is no local recreational inline skate shop to go to for maintenance. You can do it yourself or go to a Skateboard shop or a Hockey Skate shop. They usually sell the kits for cleaning skates and they will be able to clean and lube your bearings as both places would work on inline skates. You may find cleaning kits at Dick's sporting Goods stores or Dunhams as bot sell inline skates. If you want to buy online go to: InlineWarehouse.com/ See you in the spring to get rollin!!!

    Diane,
Welcome to the skate group. Yes we will be doing lessons again this year on
Wed. evenings in Shadyside. The meetup calendar will be having them in May. You will get a notice from Meetup in the spring. Yes you may bring your children, but we do not give children lessons. They can skate around the playground area where we give the adult lessons in Shadyside. Any further questions please let me know. Looking forward to meeting you there.
    Gene
