Announcing a new Meetup for The Pittsburgh Large/Giant Breed Dog Meetup Group!

What: Race for the Cure -- South Park, Dog-Friendly Edition

Join us for the Second annual Race for the Cure "South Park Style".

For those of you who would like to participate in the Race for the Cure in your own backyard, by all means join us wearing your offical T-shirt (a must) on May 9, 2010 from 7:30am to 10:30am. at the GRANT Pavilion -- near the South Park Circle- - next to the Oliver Miller Homestead off of Corrigan Dr.

This event is PET-FRIENDLY. All pets must be leashed.

Sign up on line at http://www.komenpittsburgh.org. Your T-shirt and race number will be mailed to you.

Last year's event was very nice. There was food, entertainment, and refreshments. The shelter was decorated in pink. Some participants brought their dogs along for the walk.
