Impromptu Hackfest
Meet up with LA Ruby members for an Impromptu Hackfest from 9AM to 1PM, Saturday March 20th at Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea. Bring a project to work on, or plan on helping out other people with their projects!

Is the plan for this still Intelligentsia in Silverlake? As Ron Evans mentioned at the last meetup, this is not exactly an ideal place to meet up and hack. Literati Cafe in Santa Monica might not be a bad option, though it's over in Santa Monica.

Yeah I was wondering what was going on until I got the email today. Good thing, it's like 1mile from my place. I wouldn't make it if it was in Santa Monica.

Looking forward to meeting you guys tomorrow. FYI Intelligencia has wifi. The location was chosen because of the proximity to Downtown LA (it didn't sound like one of the members had a car) and for the fact that it is walking distance from other coffee shops ( just in case it does get too crowded) Let's make the location work, get some work done on our projects, maybe even create some synergy, get to know each other and then setup future hackfests that can better meet more people's needs.

Evan DornI enjoyed the meetup, met some great guys. Intelligentsia
is a great place in an absolute sense, but for this purpose it's a bit challenging: there's very little table space, no power outlets for laptops, and parking options are nonexistent (we thought we found one two blocks away, but ended up getting a parking ticket!).
Volume was also a bit above what I'd expect from a coffeeshop, making it somewhat difficult to hear each other.
