Sergio,

Good point.  These groups inherently serve several purposes:

1) Enjoyment of networking and interacting with peers.
2) Networking to find that next opportunity.

By that logic yes it would be OK to post opportunities.

If we apply the same reasoning (no jobs ads) to the actual meetups, then
talent seekers who make public announcements about job opportunities
shouldn't be allowed to speak at meetups. Right?
