Lets put the seating debacle behind us. When able, we should make donations for the furtherance of our cause to take back America. That's our objective. If ever again offered special or priority seating, just smile and decline them.

Had to park a mile (maybe more) from the Searchlight event. It was very windy and my mom's not as young as she used to be, so the hike made her too tired to go to Henderson, so I had to miss Ann Coulter. At the exit road a Harry Reid supporter had a sign that said Please Don't Spit On Me. Couldn't see Sarah too well but heard her just fine. Someone brought a donkey. I had a good time.

Tea Party Express is an excellent way for the word to get out that we are all Mad as hell with the way we have let our representatives tell us to shut up and sit down and do as THEY want us to do.
The time has come to let the government know that we voted them in and we will vote them out if they don't start listening to us. All of us in all states!
Well put together and I realize they were on a schedule but the main candidates slated to unseat dingy Harry should have been scheduled to talk to us, in Searchlight, before starting the "prograhm"! Numerous of us never got their message as we were trying to get to Henderson for the next stop. Needless to say, heavy traffic kept many of us from getting to Henderson in time.
We thank the planners for all the dedication and hard work it took to put this magnatude of an undertaking!

Nevada Highway Patrol, was a little late in getting things organized post Searchlight event... big impact to those coming back from Searchlight. I attended the Ann Coulter Tea Party event at Henderson Pavilion, Should have had local folks speak while we waiting for the buses. Dr. Joe Heck was there, I'm sure we could have had plenty of volunteers ready to speak instead of the musical break. A contingency plan for the bus riders would have helped.
Thanks to all that worked to get this together.
Remember to Vote, primaries are coming up and we have a lot of work to do.
Keep the pressure up and sign the petition to repeal Health Care.

Really enjoyed Ann and the 4000 plus people at the event.

Tess, I thank you and the others for your hard work. I bought the VIP seating and that was before the parking thing was added. I didn't get to go because the buses were late in coming back from searchlight. I suggest you rethink your comments.

Tess, thank you for your derision of my time and efforts. I apologize to you for offending you in this way. I am pretty sure it won't happen again. My time and money will be spent elsewhere. As I said before, I learned my lesson. While you're at it, here are the words of the original offer to buy VIP seating for this event. Please tell me where this says I will sit farther away than the event volunteers. "1. If you want to be up front with the various speakers, then sign up for a VIP seat."

    March 28, 2010

  • Mike M.

Dana, I appreciate your comments, but I am not looking for a refund. I bought VIP the first day I learned of the event, before any speakers had been announced. As far as I knew the speakers would be the Tea Party Exress group and the reason to buy tickets was to help the event with a donation. Seeing and hearing Ann Coulter was great! However, being pushed aside so volunteers could have better seating disappointed me. I really felt like I had been doing my part, with both my time and money.

Didn't make it in time getting back from searchlight. Didn't get to hear Ann Coulter which is really too bad. Searchlight was Great.

A quick comment regarding Mike McFadden's complaint. You are correct to complain Mike. I won't debate the critical importance of both volunteers and those like you who put money into the 'kitty' to help cover costs, and participate in our movement. The bottom line is this. A "Paid Ticket" is a contract guaranteeing specific seating. That contract was breached. A refund should be forthcoming. Honor and trust of the leaders of our group and the contracts they make is paramount.

This was a terrific meeting ,now to the primaries and then the ultimate target of defeating Harry Reid ,Ms Titus and Ms Berkley and any other person that feels that bigger government ,higher taxes and self dealing is government's right. Not on our watch.

Regarding Searchlight. Fantastic people. Friendly, happy, God loving, country loving folks. No drunks. No druggies. No fights. No trashing the area. So different from the millions of uneducated, uninformed, uncivilized, entitlement grabbing socialists/marxists in the Democratic Party. There were fantastic speakers. My one complaint, again, is there was no accommodation at all for those of us that are handicapped or unable to walk long distances. Having to park one or two miles away made attendance near the speakers impossible. Meetup and Tea Party organizers MUST arrange at least a "Handicap Drop Off" point near the meeting place, if not reasonable "Handicap Parking" close in. That said, God bless all you wonderful people. WE WILL WIN in 2010 and 2012!!

I hope it isn't too too little, too late & glad to see my values are shared by others. In addition, it's my judgement that most of the people attending are far too polite to the opposition. When I began to unabashedly voice my opinions & observations about the current state of our society & the root causes (while standing in line waithing to get in), it was obvious that the people I was speaking to were a bit uncomfortable, but, over time, began to relax & contribute with the same intensity. It's good to see like-minded-people coming "out of the closet"! LOL!

When I was asked to buy tickets to this event I was asked to buy VIP seating where I would be seated with the invited guests and speakers. Instead we were shunted off to the side. My wife and I have been involved in almost every event that this group has held. When we were asked to become involved with the CCRP we joined, and attended every meeting. When we were asked to go to the precinct caucuses we went, became delegates, and attended the convention. We have been to all the meetings at the library, and when the hat is passed we have put in money even though money has sometimes been tight. We went to two of three Force for Good walks. Then when I saw that the eventbrite site asked for VIP "donations" to help cover the cost of renting the pavillion, I bought two seats because I wanted to help. Today we were turned away from the good seats because they were reserved for "volunteers". I don't know what you call volunteers, but I know I didn't make the cut. I've learned my lesson.

I think there were over 10,000 people there. Had a great experience.

Our group had a wonderful time. Everyone was polite, respectful, and kind. The organization was very good and the event was a complete success. A wonderful "thank you" to all the people who were responsible for arranging all of the details. Loved the "words" in the sky! I was so happy all of the canidates were able to speak to the people and introduce themselves. I made not of the ones I want to learn more about and it was a opportunity to put a face to a name. Of course the highlight of the day was Sara Palin! What I respect most about her is that she respects the people and gives voice to Americans that feel she truely gets them. I would vote for her for President not because she knows everything, has the most experience, or would do anything for me but because I truely trust her. She is truthful, clear speaking, and most importantly not afraid to push someone back and she loves our country. Sincerely, Rosalyn Blaylock

No tickets needed for Searchlight, just for the bus to Searchlight.

    March 14, 2010

Only for Henderson... Free seating is available, but they need to know how many are attending.

  • Bill S.

Are there tickets for the Searchlight NV program or only the Henderson Event

    March 14, 2010

  • Rita H.

I am working on filling the third bus to Searchlight. TPX is discouraging people from driving. Bus tickets are $25.00 per person. We are leaving the Henderson Pavilion at 8:00 am and hope to be back in time for the Henderson rally. If you would like to ride on the bus, please contact me at 456-5882. Thanks.

Bill, Go to www.nvaction.com/teaparty10.html for all the RV information and other information. Also, there are a few sites by the river, but if you can't reserve in advance, then don't count on them being available on the 26th & 27th

    Hi Bill,

I'm not sure about "Henderson" but there are several casinos on Bolder Highway, Las Vegas. Sams Town has RV parking with all hookups and in Searchlight, there is RV parking near the lake, a few miles from the meeting site. The Tea Party site has info on Searchlight parking.

I look forward to joining the Democrats, Republicans, and Independants who want to take back America from the Marxists/Socialists. Sarah will be the icing on the cake.
