7:05-7:15 PM - Welcome :: A brief hello and update to get things started.

7:15-7:30 PM - Profiles :: 2-3 brief presentations by group members who introduce themselves and showcase their skills/portfolio. This replaces the painful round of intros. NOTE: No intros are formally scheduled this month. Feel free to step up and talk about yourself for 3-5 minutes.

7:30-8:00 PM- Presentation 1 :: Using the Internet as a promotion tool by Doug Daulton (Kansha Media)

In an interactive session, Doug will discuss the various online media and networking tools available to help promote one's work and help secure work in the future. Media discussed will include blogging, audio/video podcasting, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and MySpace. While this will be an extension of the discussion held at the January meeting, some material will be likely be covered again.

8:00-8:30 PM - Presentation 2 :: Professional Networking in Las Vegas by Sonia Petkewich (Phoenix Staff)

Sonia is a local recruiter who will discuss the the best way to make professional connections in Las Vegas.

8:30-8:50 PM - Open Discussion and Portfolio/Reel Review :: The free-form "mingle" portion of the evening. As needed, we may have a formal LVMG discussion in this slot. Folks with portfolios/reels may feel free to make them available for review at this time

8:50-9:00 PM - Wrap-Up

    I wish I could be there and hope that you have a great turnout. There is a screening of a feature film that a variety of people I know worked on. Hopefully you will put the next WRAP PARTY up on your calender. You can all bring your dvd or vhs reels to watch on a big screen tv at TORINO'S on Feb 26th from 6-9pm.

    I would like to be there, but there is a screening of a film that same night. I hope to see you at this months WRAP PARTY. Perhaps you will post it here so everyone can network with others in the industry.
