Sherry Smith knows first hand the devastation of manuscript rejection. Her 6th novel, Cassadaga Moon was rejected 351 times before it was accepted by Siren Bookstrand. And, even after the acceptance and publication of said book, it was rejected a few more times. Through the ups and downs of manuscript submission, Sherry learned how to deal with rejection in a positive way.
Her motto: When the manuscript is consistently rejected think of it as the one lollipop that keeps getting tossed back into the bucket. Eventually, someone will want it!
Sherry is the current Vice President of the Las Vegas Romance Writers. She is multipublished in romantic fiction under a pen name. When she’s not writing she can be found teaching English Literature to high school students and spending time with her husband and son.
The general meeting begins at 10 am, speaker/program begins at about 10:30.
