HackNight with The Las Vegas Ruby Group

Hack Night Agenda

6:00-6:30 PM - One-on-one help

This is the time to come ask questions, squash a bug or get Ruby setup on your machine. Bring your code, ask questions and help others troubleshoot problems. If you're an experienced ruby developer, this is a great time to give back.

6:30-9ish - Three options

1) Ruby Programing Basics  (beginners) - Leo will be going over the basics of the Ruby language and also covering core concepts of programing. This is a great one for those who are new to Ruby.

2) Group project (advance) - Alex Peachey will continue leading the development of our group app topics.lvrug.org. This is a great opportunity to gain insight into the process of building an application, share tips and opinions on the best practices of application development.

3) Do your own thing (loner) - We've seen members get the most value out of more structured meetups. However, one can always come and work on their own stuff.
