HackNight with The Las Vegas Ruby Group

Hack Night Agenda

6:00-6:30 PM - One-on-one help

This is the time to come ask questions, squash a bug or get Ruby setup on your machine. Bring your code, ask questions and help others troubleshoot problems. If you're an experienced ruby developer, this is a great time to give back.

6:30-9ish - Three options

1) Classroom Side - A classroom style session for learning great stuff. Tonight's event is learning TDD and how to Kata. Lead by Jeremy.

2) Project Side - Adding 1st Time Presenter Bonus Points to our Meeting/Topics management Rails app. A group-based TDD session, were we plan out the development of new features for LVRUG's internal Rails app. Development process lead by Brian. All attending Ruby/Rails hackers are welcome to contribute.

3) Do your own thing (loner) - We've seen members get the most value out of more structured meetups. However, one can always come and work on their own stuff.
