Tom Tague will be presenting Calais 4.0 - and its connection to the Linked Data cloud - to Semantic Web aficionados, developers, reporters and editors alike in Los Angeles on March 26, 2009. Specifically, Tom will address the 'Linked Content Economy,' an evolving ecosystem of enriched and connected content that puts semantic metadata and open data assets to work in everyday media, content applications and Web-based services of all kinds. For context, see (

Hey All -- just want to clarify the timing. We will start with pizza at 6 p.m. and then give folks time to chat, etc. We will actually get started at 6:30 p.m., so hopefully that gives folks a little more time to beat the traffic.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
