Welcome, Las Vegas Dachshund Lovers!

The Las Vegas Dachshund Club is a large diverse group of fun people that love & support the Dachshund breed. The purpose of this group is to educate the community and members on ways to protect and care for our favorite breed. We meet monthly at various dog parks around our great city, so that we can provide an opportunity for the introduction of Dachshunds and their guardians to each other from all sides of the city.

We encourage everyone to spay & neuter, not to litter!!!

Unless you are a responsible breeder ( one, that breeds to improve the breed and tests to insure you are not passing on genetic faults and showing and/or entering your dogs in competitions to be judged so that you can prove they have a genetic benefit to the entire breed) don't attempt to work with us to market your pups. There's too many Dachshund's that suffer because people keep buying from irresponsible, ignorant breeders and/or pet stores. Do not support these selfish people!

We also support UC Davis in their efforts on the study of IVDD in Dachshunds.
