About The Las Vegas Dachshund Club Meetup Group

Join with Dachshund Lovers and their dogs as we are entertained by the dogs' antics as they play.
We have grown and have a great group of people and dogs meeting monthly around town at various dog parks.
Please be sure that your dogs are up-to-date on all shots and fully immunized for their protection as well as that of all the other dogs.
Puppies should be at least 6 months old, and have completed their puppy series of shots.
No female dogs in season.
No puppy selling.
Please don't litter, spay and neuter.

Our group supports rescue and promotes education about the responsibility to spay and neuter your pets, so as not to add to the overpopulation of dachshunds in our shelters.

A portion of our raised funds will be going to UC Davis Department of Canine Study for IVDD in Dahchshunds. If you are a breeder please assist the efforts of UC Davis by contacting Dr. Mark Neff at mwneff[at]ucdavis.edu

We do not condone breeding our pets, believing it wiser to leave breeding to those people who study and research the breed and do so to in an effort to better and strengthen the breed.
