What are your top 5 Desert Island songs? Come down and read them! This Wednesday, May 13th, we'll be taking it to the musical side of poetry with lyrics. Read your favorite lyrics or sing us a song! We're all influenced by music in one way or another (or not at all), in all its forms, so come on down and share!

Every Wednesday at 7:00pm, Hannah Marisahl and Kari O'Connor host a weekly, all-ages, free open mic at Sunrise Coffee Co. at 3130 E. Sunset Rd. Ste. A (formerly It's A Grind and Mojo Coffee), between Pecos and Eastern.

All styles of poetry and spoken word are welcome. You can read whatever you want! We also welcome fiction readers, stand up comedians, monologuists, musicians... anyone who has something to say!

Sunrise Coffee Co. is a locally-owned, 100% organic, fair trade coffeehouse with a living room feel and only uses bio-degradable products.

Come on down and join us!
