Introduction

Im a fairly new poet who is longing to venture into the spoken word forum..I am at the very beginning process and would love to surround myself.. around..talented poets who want to be in an enviornment empowered by spoken word.

What changes would you like to see in your writing craft/talent with this group?

I am looking to put vocal behind my work.. although I cant sing..so far I use music..but I believe I can branch out dramatically if..combined with song..I can recite my works.

What writing rituals/habits do you have, if any?

I need to write with smooth jazz playing in the background (sometimes any music will do)..and I cant write on paper..it has to be thru the keyboard..I type as I flow..its wierd.. me, pen and paper battle!

What are your goals as a writer, if any?

I would like to get my works..placed on a CD..in spoken word.. because I write such long pieces..I would like to put out my work in written volumns as well as a CD..

How long have you called yourself a writer?

im in my forties.. I guess ive been writing since I was sixteen, but most recently..owned up to my talent..in the last seven years ..
