Meetup Description: Here's my review for this restaurant.

I finally got to try Jumpa Thai Cuisine after passing by on several occasions. I never stopped by before because I have ?Nonauthenticthaifoodphobia? especially from large restaurants. However, I wanted to give Jumpa Thai a try because I heard many good things about it. Here are my takes on Jumpa Thai Cuisine.

Ambiance = 5 stars
Jumpa Thai was very spacious and clean. It is a rather new restaurant (open in 2005). The decor is modern and well lit.

Food = 5 stars
I love going out to eat with a group of friends because I get to try lots of different dishes. We ordered;
Tom Yum Noodles - I'm usually not a big fan of Tom Yum Noodle soup but this was surprisingly good!
BBQ Beef Salad - The BBQ Beef Salad was pretty darn good even though it was not made the way we do in Thailand. The BBQ beef was perfectly seared and the sauce was just right. It's was the best dish of the night.
Spicy Raw Shrimp Salad ? OMG! The Spicy Raw Shrimp was incredible. I didn't expect to find this dish outside of Thai town. Not too many Thai restaurants make Spicy Raw Shrimp Salad because only Thais order it. I'm so glad I don't have to drive all the way to Hollywood to get this dish. Spicy Raw Shrimp Salad is not hard to make, but you can ruin it if you don't use fresh ingredients.
Shrimp Salad ? Same sauce as the beef salad, pretty good.
Pad See Eau Noodles (Pad See Ew) ? Awesome, tastes just like Pad See Ew in Thailand.
Seafood Fried Rice ? Good variety of seafood and pretty large portion.
Spicy Lime Steamed Fish ? It wouldn't be fair for me to rate this dish because I was stuffed by the time it come out. (We were warned by the waiter, but we ordered it anyway)
We sealed the deal with Young Coconut with Ice Cream ? Jumpa Thai's food is great but you need to save room for the Coconut ice cream! You will regret it if you don't.

Service = 4 Stars
Overall, the service was pretty good. It was lacking at the beginning when we asked for drinks, but it picked up once we started ordering food. One thing I really like about the service was our waiter warned us that there is a 20 min wait if we order the Spicy Lime Steamed Fish (I appreciate small gestures).

You can find this review on Jumpa's Website.

How are we doing this?
