Hey Charlotte Salsa Manaics,

Lots of dancing coming up over the next few weeks. Starting this weekend, in Atlanta Georgia, the Salsa Congress (which is dancing, workshops, and fun galore all weekend). Unfortunately for me, I am on the road going to a Yale reunion, so I will not be attending... and it's killing me. But, you go please. However that is not what I am really writing you about. If you can't make it to Atlanta, World Dance Center's Rodrigo and Wendy are bringing the three time ESPN World Salsa dance champion..Abel to Charlotte ...just for us. Abel is going to be in Atlanta, but he's coming here right after.

He will be doing a five hour intensive workshop next Saturday, October 9. All the details can be found at www.charlottesalsadance.com

I am on the road now, but when I return on Monday, I will provide a lot more details. For now, don't wait, space is limited. All you need is to be able to do a cross body lead, a solid basic step, and basic turns (right and left). If you can do that, you will be ready to go to the next level.

Well the road is calling, got to go.

See you on the dance floor,

Muhammad

PS. I regret I will not be here this sunday to see Gilberto Santa Rosa. If anyone has the details, email me so I can pass the word

Don't forget the annual Latin Dance festival is coming up next weekend (October 10th) more details will follow and we will meetup there.
