I love the variety of things possible to do on weekends without needing to shovel out snow to leave home. I can play beach volleyball year round and play about 45 days a year for a spectacular workout most of the time. A pilot introduced me to doing aerobatics over the ocean of Long Beach. Doing loops were a blast. I took a kayak class and paddled down the lower Kern River with a classmate on a four day weekend and had a blast.
More people that show up when they say they will. In two years I plan to buy a sailboat around 40 feet long to outfit to live on year round. First trip leg is LA-Panama canal and San Blass Islands in Panama. Next legs planned are: Belize, Texas, Florida Keys and eventually Ireland and Europe. Europe has roughly 3,000 miles of navigation rivers and canals they used before roads were practical. I cannot promise how long the traveling will last but I want many people to visit to add to the fun. Anyone want to play beach volleyball or learn to play with doing practice drills like in a volleyball class? Show up for 8 weeks and become a advanced beginner. I play beach volleyball about 45 Sundays a year at Ocean Park Beach, Santa Monica. And may add playing midweek at the Santa Monica Pier for a more balanced workout.
I'm an American but lived in Japan for 18 months and lived in the Philippines for 6 months.

Hello, I sometimes tell people you can tell people from LA because they don't show up if there is one cloud in the sky.
