I so agree with you about having a center city location and keeping Bala ~

There are tons of peeps who want to walk to a location not drive nor rent phillycar share.

Why not use LoA to get a parking space?  LOL!!

And there is always the possibility of creating a new Meetup in CC that's more convenient for downtown dwellers.  Moving the Bala group into the city would make it far more difficult for us suburbanites to attend. Having more than one group sounds like the next logical step, n'est ce pas?

I had a feeling this would come up.lol:)  and I feel you are justified asking this.
I have many  books on the subject including LOA I have attended many other meetups. Unfortunately yours in not convenient for me. I am happy doing the question and answer via email. If not a problem for you.
I have been meditating for years. I have watched every movie, listened to every tape I can get my hands on. A few friends of mine are all involved with the LOA. Not as serious as I am but We support each other when needed. So I have not just been at it for 5 minutes. lol:) I actually find it amusing that
now people are starting to notice the LOA. I remember when everyone thought I was a crackpot. years ago I gave a friend a book(Science of Getting Rich) and she laughed at me now they come to me with questions.
I would LOVE to attend your meeting. I feel you are very knowledgeable and take it seriously.

I have attended other meetup groups off of south street and it is convenient to a point.
I know you cannot accommodate everyone. my gripe with that location is if it is in the evening I found it difficult to find a parking space and a few times had to walk by myself quite a few blocks out of the area and I was not comfortable with that.
I know this (LOA) works, it has for me. I am at a crossroad in my life and have many feelings creeping in and I just need questions answered at times.

Thank you for all the time and effort you put forth to help us,
Maria

Two people have asked 'how' in this thread, and as I read these messages, I can't help but reflect that these questions are coming from folks who, to my recollection, have not ever attended a meeting.

Now, since we've never met - I have to ask you: how much reading are you doing to understand these principles? .are you listening to the Abe tapes? do you talk to others who understand law of attraction? are you attending any other law of attraction groups? are you doing the processes on your own?

I was at a law of attraction meeting today, and it was interesting to see that there were at least 5 people there who attend my meetings and all the other law of attraction meetups they can find. As do I. We also attend Abe workshops, subscribe to their tapes and read absolutely everything we can get our hands on about law of attraction. And then we talk to each other over and over and over if necessary to clarify our understanding and application of these ideas in our lives. This is what people do who are serious about making change in their lives.

Law of attraction is not a 5 minute philosophy. It cannot be conveyed in a sound bite. It takes reading, study and application. You have to understand how it works, first, and then you have to apply it to your life by looking at your thoughts, beliefs and expectations. If it worked so easily after 5 minutes conversation, we'd all win the lottery and be happily with the loves of our lives, doing things that blissfully fulfill us every day. And most of us aren't doing that yet.

It just astonishes me that people think that they can give this a few minutes attention and expect to make major changes in their lives. This is not directed to anyone on this list in particular, this is an issue that has come up on a number of the lists I'm on in the last week, and apparently a hot button for me.

So, to the people who want to know 'how', I say internalize the processes and live them. Some of the processes are in the book, Ask and It's Given.
