For some reason, one of the things that struck me most profoundly was that out of 2 million people (or more) it seemed that EVERYONE was feelin' the vibe. Because, in my opinion, there are usually crazies around doing the stuff crazies do EVERYWHERE. But there were no drunks arrested, no dissenters arrested, no protesters arrested, nobody with a gun arrested. That is remarkable to me. I'm one who doesn't trust the cops in large groups, and I think of how quick they can sometimes be to 'move people out of the way' if they don't look or act like the cops think they should in a large event. And apparently, none of that happened. That is proof positive to me that Obama's got some strong mojo. And that it was felt everywhere - not just among those who like him, but that it is affecting those who aren't so thrilled he's pres., too. (And there are some of those - just heard one on Howard Stern.)
