This month Lean Houston has extended a special invitation to the young companies from the Rice and UH accelerators, OwlSpark and RED Labs!
Don't worry, the event is open to everyone, we will just have a lot of fresh faces.
Thus the main event will be a talk for the benefit of earlier-stage companies: The Do's and Don'ts of launching your product or service. Should you do a soft launch? A hyped up press-driven launch? Should you run a beta or free trial version of the project? What happens immediately after a so-called "launch" anyway?
All of these will be analyzed in a presentation by Paul Kwiatkowski, Co-Founder at GroupRaise, with discussion and networking to follow. Come by, see the talk and meet some young teams getting their start here in Houston!
Location and Parking: To accommodate a larger group, OwlSpark is hosting us out of their space at Rice University, at Willy's Pub, downstairs inside the Rice Memorial Center.
Parking can be found in a number of places (see links):
• Underneath the Jones School of Business, just across the street, for a moderate cost.
• West Lot 1, next to the Shepherd School of Music's Brown Hall. Cheaper, not much father than the Business School.
• $1 Lot behind the Stadium, accessible from Greenbriar St. A shuttle comes by every 15-20 minutes, ask for the RMC or Willy's Pub.
