Sunday Knitting

The Sunday knitting group meet every Sunday to knit, crochet and chat. Feel free to join us.

We're a casual and friendly bunch of people with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. We're not a knitting class (bring your own project and material), but even if you haven't started knitting or crocheting yet but would like some advice on how and where to begin, you are welcome to join this meetup.

Hello everyone, this isn't wool related but I was chosen to be a World Book Night giver again but wasn't well enough yesterday to go giving my books out so would anyone like a copy? I've got several left so let me know if you want one and I'll bring some on Sunday. The book is Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rivers-London-1/dp/0575097582/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1398348556&sr=8-1&keywords=rivers+of+london

I got a picnic basket and blanket in the sale at the end of the Summer so we'll be a knitting picnic extravaganza!

I have 'recipes' for a whole tea party if I can remember who borrowed them!

I think Sunday knitting/crochet picnics over the summer is a great idea....I would suggest waiting until it's a bit warmer though. it still gets chilly whenever the sun disappears. ....and the weather forecast predicts heavy rain this Sunday. :(

But I love the idea! :)
