Our big Open House meeting is coming up next week, and we're excited!
We'll have a fascinating presentation by experienced photographer and trainer Carlos Chavez entitled, “Why WiFi?” that will make you seriously consider including wifi technology into your photographic workflow, no matter what your experience level may be.
We'll conduct our always fun and educational Photo Critique session using YOUR photos! Please send your images directly to me at [masked] by 5:00 pm Friday, February 15th, or bring them with you as early as possible to the meeting. Format them as JPEG files and please don't include your name or any other identifying marks in the images or the filenames. Our theme this time is “FLOW.” Go out and make an image that interprets this word in your own unique way, and have fun doing it!
We'll be displaying a mini gallery of your very best photos for the benefit of members and our guests. Please look back through your archives and choose one or two of your best photographic images. Then get your 4x5- (or 8x10)-formatted JPEG images (2 maximum) to me by midnight Sunday, February 10, so that we can get them printed and mounted in time for display at the meeting. Include your watermark if desired, and provide the highest image resolution available to you for best results. Each image will have a white 1/4-1/2-inch border, and will be mounted on an 11x14 black mat board, for a total cost to you of $10 per image. You may pay me via PayPal (use my email address as the recipient), or at the meeting via credit card (AMEX, MC, VISA, DISCOVER).
This is an ALL-HANDS meeting, so if you've never attended before, or if it's been a while, we need to see you there. Please do your best to clear your schedules and be in attendance. It's going to be an AWESOME meeting! See you then and there!
